With the rise of the Web, fairly suddenly everyone became a “professional” photog. Back in the prehistoric period before all of these pixels began flying around the world, and communication relied on something other than Skype or texting, clients would find photographers pretty much by word of mouth, or by looking through expensively-produced yearbooks in which photographers displayed their best work – at a pretty heady cost.

People figured, “Gee, if this guy’s work looks this good, and he has enough bread to advertise in this beautiful coffee-table sized book, he must know what he’s doing. I guess it doesn’t seem too much of a risk to hire someone I really don’t know on the basis of all of this.” Or something like that. In the end, it was – and still is – all about trust. About Us

Phil has been in business for over 25 years. He began his career as a photojournalist working for UPI, gradually moving into other editorial and corporate work. He now specializes in creating imaginative photographic solutions for clients worldwide, bringing his technical expertise, wonderful “people” skills and wide ranging, down to earth intellect to every assignment he undertakes.

Location & Studio

We have produced photography on assignment for many corporations, organizations and businesses, large and small, and for an enormous variety of publications in every imaginable field. Phil’s studio photography is also an important aspect of his business. With extensive experience in shooting both products and people, Phil brings the same attention to detail and meticulous sense of composition to his in-studio work – from tack-sharp macro work to routine product photography, and more.

What? Not!

Phil doesn’t shoot weddings, bar-mitzvahs, quinceañeras, family portraits, graduation photos, etc. His expertise is in being assigned a subject, location, and some basic instructions – and letting his experience and creativity take over from there.
